Steps to make "Zongzi" rhubarb rice jujube dumplings
- 1. Yellow rice.
- Wash and soak for a few hours.
- 3. Spread Zongzi leaves on a five inch cake mold to enlarge the yellow rice.
- 4. Add honey dates.
- 5. Add rice.
- 6. Wrap it up.
- 7. Cover the lid.
- 8. Put purified water and Zongzi in the pot.
- 9. Cover the pot and bring it to a boil over high heat.
- 10. Reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 40 minutes, then simmer for one hour.
- 11. After one hour's stewing of Zongzi, remove the lid.
- 12. Take it out.
- 13. Open it.
