Steps to make Bean Paste Pumpkin Bun
- 1. Steam the pumpkin and knead it into a paste.
- 2. Add proper amount of glutinous rice flour into pumpkin puree and stir.
- 3. Knead it into a smooth dough by hand, cover it with a lid and let it sit for a while for later use.
- 4. Roll the bean paste into small balls and set them aside.
- 5. Take a small amount of pumpkin dough and knead it into cocoa powder.
- After kneading evenly, obtain a cocoa colored dough.
- 7. Take a piece of pumpkin dough, knead it into a round shape and flatten it, then add bean paste filling.
- 8. Wrap the dough around the filling and push it towards the center.
- 9. Close the mouth tightly.
- 10. Slightly round and shape, place with the mouth facing downwards.
