Steps to make Bean paste crispy in one bite

  • 1. All ingredients should be weighed, and the flour should be sieved to remove any hard lumps from the flour
  • 2. Cut butter into small pieces and soften at room temperature
  • 3. Add sugar powder and flour to the butter
  • 4. Stir evenly by hand
  • 5. Pour in the egg mixture
  • 6. Mix dough and refrigerate for 1 hour in the refrigerator
  • 7. Take out the dough and knead it into long strips
  • 8. Use a rolling pin to press long rows of slices
  • 9. Add bean paste filling
  • 10. Just wrap the dough around the bean paste filling.
  • 11. Cut into small pieces, the size can be customized according to personal preference. Brush egg yolks on top and sprinkle with cooked white sesame seeds
  • 12. Preheat the oven at 190 degrees for 10 minutes, then bake at 180 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes
