Steps to make Spicy Braised pork belly
- 1. Cut the pork belly into small pieces and blanch the meat in cold water.
- 2. Heat up the pot, add a small amount of oil, put in the meat pieces and stir fry until the oil comes out. Remove and set aside.
- 3. Put fermented black beans, star anise, cinnamon, scallions, ginger, and dried chili directly into the pot and stir fry until fragrant.
- 4. Add meat, cooking wine, soy sauce, and stir fry evenly. Add water and rock sugar, cover with low heat and simmer for one hour. Open the lid and turn on high heat to collect the juice.
