Steps to make Mushroom Shrimp Meat Dumpling
- 1. Prepare ingredients: As shown in the picture, soak glutinous rice, stripped mung beans for four hours, rinse several times, then add a little salt and mix well. Mushrooms and shrimp soak well. Cut the pork belly into thick pieces, add soy sauce, five spice powder, and pepper powder, mix well, and marinate overnight. Wash the purchased zongzi leaves by soaking them in boiling water.
- 2. Fold the zongzi leaves into a funnel.
- 3. First, add a little glutinous rice (mixed with mung beans).
- 4. Add pork belly, mushrooms, and shrimp.
- 5. Then add another layer of glutinous rice to cover the filling, and use a small spoon to press and compact the glutinous rice.
- 6. Then take another zongzi leaf and wrap it halfway from left to right as shown in the picture.
- 7. Fold from left to right again.
- 8. Cover the left side with the right side and hold it tightly.
- 9. Then fold the zongzi leaves in front upwards and press them tightly with the thumb.
- 10. Tighten it with a cotton rope, as shown in the picture.

- 12. Add the water soaked in Zongzi into the electric rice cooker. Press the quick cook button to boil it, and then press the hot button. The default time is 2 hours. When the time comes, do not immediately open the lid, and stew for 20 minutes before taking Zongzi out to drain.
