  • 1. Choose dried peas that have been peeled, not those with skins on!
  • 2. Soak the peas in water half a day in advance until they swell and their volume doubles
  • 3. Add water and basically level the beans, and then use the baby Congee stall of the electric rice cooker to boil the beans until they are soft and rotten. It takes 2 hours to cook baby Congee. If it takes too much time, you can also press it with a pressure cooker for 10 minutes.
  • 4. Pour the boiled beans into the blender and add rock sugar powder while stirring until crushed. The blender is very delicate, and if you don't have it, you can use other cooking machines as long as they can crush it.
  • 5. The mashed pea paste is very delicate. Even if it's not very delicate, it doesn't affect solidification, so there's no need to worry without a wall breaking machine.
  • 6. Due to the high moisture content of the bean paste, it can be placed in a bread machine and stir fried for about 20 minutes using the stir fry function. If you don't have a bread maker, you can manually stir fry in a wok. Just let the water dry a little, don't stir fry it completely
  • 7. Cut persimmon cakes into strips. I used hanging persimmon cakes, which are very sweet.
  • 8. Pour a portion of the stir fried bean paste into the container first, then lay a layer of persimmon cakes on top, and then pour the remaining bean paste onto top
  • 9. It's cold now, let it sit in the kitchen for about 2 hours. Once it's completely cooled, it can be poured out
