Steps to make Fish Head and Tofu Soup
- 1. Prepare 300g of grass fish head and 250g of tender tofu
- 2. Cut the grass carp head into pieces and marinate with cooking wine and ginger slices for 10 minutes. Cut the tofu into small pieces and set aside
- 3. Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the pot and fry the fish head
- 4. Fry until the surface of the fish head changes color, then add water (subject to the fish head being submerged)
- 5. After boiling the water, transfer it to a clay pot and slowly simmer with chopped scallions over low heat
- 6. Stew until the soup is milky white, then add the tofu
- 7. Add tofu and simmer for 10 minutes, then add salt to season
- 8. Add salt and simmer for another two minutes to remove from the pot
